Therapy that honors
your story,
your culture,
and your pace

Culturally-aware therapy for adults navigating anxiety, cultural identity, & trauma

A space where you don’t have to perform.

There are no perfect words required here. No right way to show up. Therapy is simply a space to be honest about what's weighing on you, what doesn't quite make sense yet, and what you've been holding alone for longer than you should have had to.

I move at your pace. Gently exploring your story, your identity, and the patterns that have followed you, not to pull them apart, but to understand them with curiosity and without judgment.

You don't have to be strong all the time here. And you don't have to shrink either. This space holds all of it.

Culturally-aware therapy for adults navigating anxiety, cultural identity, & trauma

Anxiety

Slowing racing thoughts, constant pressure, and the feeling of always needing to stay “on.”

Cultural Identity

Exploring identity, expectations, and the complexity of navigating culture, family, and self.

Trauma

Exploring the impact of painful experiences, survival patterns, and the process of rebuilding safety, trust, and connection with yourself.

A culturally-aware, trauma-informed approach to therapy in Illinois

I believe you already hold so much wisdom about your own life. My role is simply to walk beside you, creating a space where you feel safe enough to be honest, curious enough to explore, and supported enough to grow.

The work we do together is rooted in:

  • Culturally-aware and anti-oppressive therapy that sees and respects all of who you are

  • Trauma-informed care that never rushes healing or asks more than you're ready to give

  • A collaborative, person-centered approach, because this is your journey, and you lead it

  • Gentle honesty and challenge, always paired with respect for your pace and your process

Healing rarely moves in a straight line. And you don't have to do it perfectly to begin. You just have to begin.

A little about me

As a daughter of immigrants and a Latina therapist, I know firsthand that who we are, our culture, our identity, our story, shapes everything, including how we experience therapy itself.

I grew up in a world where struggle was often carried quietly, where asking for help didn't always feel like an option. That experience deeply informs how I show up for my clients. I'm intentional about creating a space where all of you is welcome — your history, your complexity, and the parts of you that have never quite fit neatly into a box.

Therapy with me is real, relational, and deeply human.

Beginning therapy can feel vulnerable- but it can also be the start of feeling more grounded, more clear, and more like yourself.
